The Bahluli Baluch occupied the south-eastern part of Persia and this charming rug with a natural camel-hair field, would have been made around 1870-1880. It is in very good condition with some expert re-piling, mainly in parts of the outer border and selvedge area.
The camel field contains a myriad of octagonal '8-pointed stars' and the main ivory border, containing 'X' symbols.
