This Baluch is truly beautiful - of the Sabzevar group - gorgeous saturated rich madder red which is the perfect red in good Baluch work. The deep indigo blue field contains small white flowers (gol shaftalu) or nectar blossom. The main border has a fabulous grape vine pattern (hashie anguri). It has a little corrosion throughout the dark brown wool - as is normal in this type - and dates to the last quarter 19th century.
